Terms of Service
Effective: September 25, 2026 (Version 2026-09-25-all-in-1)
1. Operator & Agreement
These Terms govern business use of Paperticket. The service is provided by Paperticket Software Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the service on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to act for that business and agree to these Terms. The laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada and applicable federal Canadian law govern this agreement, subject to rights that cannot be excluded by law.
2. Service & Your Responsibilities
Paperticket provides field service dispatch, customer and equipment records, crew coordination, arrival ETA messaging, and closeout paperwork collection. You are responsible for your service work, records, staff permissions, and decisions based on the service. Keep credentials secure, remove access when staff leave, and report suspected misuse. Do not upload unlawful content, access another business’s data without permission, interfere with security, or send unsolicited messages. Obtain the notices, permissions, and consent needed for customer records, staff location information, and messaging.
3. Free Trial & Flat Subscription Pricing
Paperticket is currently offered to businesses operating in Canada or the United States. New company workspaces start with a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to create an account. The subscription model is a flat monthly rate per company with unlimited users and technicians, and includes up to 500 SMS segments and 1,000 emails per month. Texting (SMS) is currently available only to businesses in Canada. For businesses in Canada, prices are in Canadian dollars and include any applicable taxes. For businesses in the United States, prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax; any applicable sales tax is calculated from your billing address and added at checkout. The total recurring amount is shown before you purchase. If our pricing changes, we will communicate the change before it applies to your subscription. Trial and messaging usage limits may apply; review the limits shown in your workspace. Any separate messaging charges must be disclosed before you purchase. Signup does not open a paid checkout or authorize a charge.
4. Renewal, Grace Period & Cancellation
A paid subscription begins only when an authorized company owner completes checkout. After that, recurring charges follow the billing interval and terms shown at checkout until cancelled. The standard billing policy provides a seven-day grace period for overdue renewals; this is not an extension of the free trial. When trial access or paid entitlement ends, operational access can be restricted. Owners can still use billing recovery and company export tools while their membership remains active. Use the billing portal linked from company billing settings to manage or cancel a subscription, or contact support if you cannot access it. The cancellation effective date is shown in billing; access normally continues to the paid-through date for an end-of-period cancellation. Cancelling billing does not itself delete company records. Contact support about billing errors or refund requests; these Terms do not promise an automatic refund or limit statutory rights.
5. Your Records & Exports
You retain your rights in the records and files you provide. You authorize us and our service providers to process them to operate, secure, and support Paperticket as described in the Privacy Policy. Active company owners can request the company export from Company Settings, including during billing restriction. Export contents depend on the export selected; product analytics and restricted platform records are not part of the ordinary company export. Download and check your records and attachments before closing your account. You remain responsible for keeping any records your business is legally required to retain.
6. Availability & Offline Work
Availability depends on networks, devices, and external providers; no uptime or response-time guarantee is offered here. Previously cached jobs may remain readable offline on the same browser and device. Supported notes, completion details, and photos can be queued locally, but are not saved to the server until synchronization succeeds. Conflicts or expired permissions may require review. Clearing browser data or losing a device can lose unsynchronized work. Accepting new calls and sending arrival ETA messages require a connection. Arrival times are estimates, and Paperticket is not an emergency dispatch service.
7. Suspension, Closure & Changes
Access may be restricted for unpaid subscriptions, misuse, security concerns, or legal requirements. Contact support to request account closure or review an access restriction. Closure and deletion are separate processes, subject to applicable retention duties described in the Privacy Policy. We may update these Terms as the service changes; the published version and effective date identify the applicable text. Material changes will be brought to your attention before they take effect where required by law. Nothing here excludes liability or rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
